Dear Burera district,
I'm a journalist doing a follow up on the Rwandan students/ pupils
who studied in Uganda before the travel restrictions on the border
early this year.
I've learnt that local officials were tasked to do a list of those
affected so they can be enrolled into local schools.
I would like to ask for the following information under Law no
04/2013 of 08/02/2013 relating to access to information.
1. What is the exact number of students/ pupils who were affected?
2. How many so far managed to secure places in local schools, and
what is their level of study?
I look forward to hearing from you
Regards,
Johnson

Dear Burera District,
Reference is made to the access to information request sent weeks
ago seeking details on the fate students affected by border travel
restrictions.
I have so far not heard from you despite the law requiring you to
process the request within three days. Now I would appreciate it if
you could avail the details upon receiving this reminder.
Best Regards
Johnson
