One Laptop Per Child report submitted to Public Accounts Committee in May 2016
Office of the Auditor General did not have the information requested.
From: Stephen Abbott Pugh
Dear Office of the Auditor General,
I would like to ask for the following information under Law no
04/2013 of 08/02/2013 relating to access to information.
Following a recent news article in the New Times
a live TV debate on RTV
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvUhqhM9..., I would be
interested to read the Auditor General's report submitted to the
Public Accounts Committee in May 2016 which features information
about Rwanda's One Laptop Per Child scheme.
However I have been unable to find this report on the Auditor
General's website. Can you please provide me with a PDF copy of the
report or submit a link to where I can find the report online to
download a copy for myself?

However, in respect of professional secrecy as spelled out in clause 27 of the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAI 30, CODE OF ETHICS) which OAG Rwanda adheres to, we cannot disclose information obtained the process of auditing to a third party.
You can either obtain the report from the client; Rwanda Education Board (REB) or Parliament whom we report to.
