Make daily Senate debate schedules available on parliament.gov.rw
Dear Mugabo Asaph,
I would like to ask for the following information under Law no 04/2013 of 08/02/2013 relating to access to information.
When the Senate is in session, there is a daily email sent to a mailing list of journalists and interested parties in Rwanda to inform them of the schedule of debates/activities for the Senate that day.
However this calendar information is not uploaded or released via the Senate's website at parliament.gov.rw meaning that members of the public cannot see what issues or topics are due to be debated on any day by the senators.
It is in the public interest to release this information to inform the public about the activities of the Senate as well as promoting founded public debate, as mandated by Rwanda's 2013 access to information law.
Please can you task someone from the Senate's website or communications team with uploading these daily schedules to parliament.gov.rw every morning whenever the Senate is sitting so that members of the public can find this information on your website?
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Abbott Pugh

Dear Mugabo Asaph,
Have you had the chance to look at the access to information request that I sent you last week?
Rwanda's access to information law says that you are obliged to respond to my request within three working days so it would be great to know if the Senate will be able to take any steps to make your debate schedules/calendar available on the parliament.gov.rw website.
Many thanks
